Puppey played for Team SMG against 9Pandas: his skill impressed even his opponents

Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, captain of Team Secret, had been playing with Team SMG for quite some time and showcased incredible mastery during the skirmishes against 9 Pandas.

Such a statement was made by Gleb "kiyotaka" Zyryanov, a player from 9 Pandas, during an interview on the KD ALL IN YouTube channel.

"They [Team SMG] with Puppey played normally against us in CW. Puppey was just running around in CW and destroying us without a chance"

According to the esports player, Puppey displayed an incredible level of gameplay during the matches with Team SMG. His admiration for the Dota 2 legend's skill is shared by Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, who confirmed that their opponents were playing at the highest level.

The esports players also revealed that they had been in talks with Puppey since the BetBoom Dacha days. He agreed to take on the position of a coach but immediately warned that if he was offered a player position, he would choose that option. As a result, Puppey didn't make it to TI12 as a stand-in for Team SMG, although the exact reason for this remains unknown.

Earlier, RAMZES666 revealed how Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, the captain of Team Secret, agreed to play for 9 Pandas at ESL One Berlin Major 2023 for Dota 2. However, at the last moment, the club decided to take RodjER on board instead.
