Puppey made an unexpected statement about the new Team Secret roster

Klement "Puppey" Ivanov, who heads the Team Secret roster, has claimed that he is starting to build up a new roster from scratch and has every intention of integrating a couple of new recruits.

He commented on this in one of the interviews during PGL Wallachia Season 2.

"Work is underway. It's not easy to gather five players at once, as I disbanded the entire roster. In other words, when we want to create a new team, some so called 'building blocks' are already there. However, this time a completely fresh one is required"

He observed that the current situation on the transfer market is rather dire, noting that there are quite a number of players who already have plans up to The International 2025. On top of that, the Dota 2 legend made a confession - he wants to go and look for new talents, and realizes well that there risks are involved in that.

“Even the efforts to put together a team for TI were difficult due to this one. Ahead of time, many wish more; I also wanted to look for other players which also turns out to be a risk and requires a lot of testing as well. In general, if it happens, good, if this does not happen this way, so be it, that is what I am making effort at”

Of particular interest, Puppey also stressed that the new Team Spirit roster may be subject to problems or may not live up to expectations, but he does not deny reality. He said that the roster would be revealed when it is ready, and at the moment, the team-building process is still underway.

Puppey finally completed his revenge for the loss he suffered at The International 2013 after a period of eleven years and it is also quite notable.
