Scofield Comments on the 322 Incident at the EWC

Elvis “Scofield” Peña stated that he has always condemned any schemes that violate the principle of fair play, and also declared his non-involvement in the 322 incident at the Esports World Cup 2026.

The player posted the following statement on Instagram.

“Hello, everyone. I never thought I’d have to write something like this.

Everything that happened took me by surprise. I’ve seen a lot of things online, so I want to clarify a few things. I did not participate in anything illegal. I am not aware of the facts currently under investigation. I fully respect the decisions made by ESIC. I’ve always believed that fair play and fair competition are paramount. I’ve loved Dota from the very beginning.

Out of respect for the investigation process, I prefer to speak only for myself. I have no right to comment on other people or situations about which I know nothing.

For years, I gave up everything for my dream, and Dota changed my life. Those who have followed me since the very beginning of my career know how much it means to me. This hurts. It’s incredibly frustrating that this situation has ultimately caught up with me, even though I’ve tried to do the right thing. Thank you to everyone for your support, and also to those who have chosen to wait rather than jump to conclusions.

I believe everything can be cleared up. In the meantime, I’ll keep doing what I’ve always done: play and give it my all.”

According to a statement by Elvis “Scofield” Peña, out of respect for the investigation, the esports player is not ready to defend his PlayTime teammates by declaring their innocence regarding 322. Nevertheless, he maintains that he was not personally involved in any fraudulent schemes and regrets having unwittingly become an accomplice in this situation.

As a reminder, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov previously commented on the suspension of Gonzalo “Darkmago” Herrera due to suspicions related to 322.
