A joint photo of Yatoro and Somnus sparked a wave of jokes about Ame

Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, who has won two Dota 2 World Championships, found himself in China in early March 2016 for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 were he spent a day with Lu “Somnus丶M” Yao somewhere in Shanghai and apparently took some nice pictures.

One of the photos of Yatoro and Somnus pictures aroused controversy among the Reddit community where a lot of jokes about Wang “Ame” Chunyu were shared.

In one of the images, the Dota 2 icons are in the middle of a city showing a heart shape hand gesture. Naturally, this led to some directional comments regarding Ame, whom Yatoro praised just not so long ago. People were amusement saying that the romance between Ames and Yatoro had ended and that he had turned to Somnus.

Here’s one that Yatoro is getting the whole Chinese pro game players in his bag, whilst some believe that’s how the new Yatoro’s roster gets to assemble with Somnus most probably being recruited.
