David “Parker” Flores has announced that he has decided to end his career in professional Dota 2.
The esports player made the announcement during a personal livestream on Twitch.
“I’m sad—I didn’t qualify for The International, I didn’t qualify for Riyadh...
Guys, I’m leaving Dota. It’s time to say goodbye.”
According to David “Parker” Flores’ statement, the esports player reached this decision after his team failed to qualify for the Esports World Cup and The International 2026. It’s worth noting that the player couldn’t hold back his emotions and shed a tear right during the stream, and also promised to speak in more detail about the reasons behind his decision later.
As a reminder, Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov previously urged Wan “Ame” Chunyi to end his career and take up streaming.
