DM spoke about the impact of the new patch on Dota 2.

Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin said that PARIVISION players were tired of playing the same heroes in the last meta, because of which they did not train much, and, after the release of the new update, all members of the squad began to actively study the changes in matchmaking, playing 20 pubs a day.

The corresponding statement the player made in Telegram.

“Performed satisfactorily so far, it could be better. We are studying the meta, because of the new patch. In the last meta, everyone is already bored of playing, not much we practiced on the old patch. Now there is a new patch, so everyone is playing 20 publicks a day, as is customary. We will try and develop.”

Patch 7.38 for Dota 2, which was released on February 19, made major changes to the game's meta. The developers not only rebalanced the meta, but also added changes to the map, as well as new mechanics like a timer on Roshan and auto-selling items. Most players positively evaluated the changes, but there are those who believe that the patch did not solve the accumulated problems in the game, and also came out late.

Recall that earlier Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov named a hero that can quickly gain MMR in the new meta.
