Dastan “dastan” Akbayev, coach of PARIVISION, stated that if the young players do not improve and show better performances, the team may have to remove them from the CS2 roster.

The coach talked about this during a PGL interview.

“Sometimes the mistakes are way too rough. It’s like beginner mistakes, just mistake after mistake. We will just keep playing and see what the future brings us. It’s already been more than half a year working with young players, but I don’t feel like they are improving.

I tell them that this way they can just wait for a kick. ‘You can read all the news, it’s your choice. If you can’t play, then this is simply not your level.’ You need to play good. Sometimes... without overthinking, just do things.

They need to understand some unique situations by themselves, but it’s hard. And if you look at today’s clutches... Sometimes we play good, but when the situation gets difficult... It takes years to become players on the level of Team Vitality, years of talent and experience”

Dastan did not mention any specific names, but noted that he is unhappy with the performances of the younger players. According to him, he wants to see development, but so far he does not notice it, while the esports players continue repeating the same old mistakes.

The coach even admitted that if the situation does not change, some players could get kicked, although he once again did not clarify who exactly he was talking about. He emphasized that becoming players on the level of Team Vitality takes years, and everybody understands that, but constant progress still has to happen.
