Vitaliy "Papich" Tsal, a well-known streamer and Dota 2 player, has stated that he will not be playing Valve's new game, Deadlock. In his opinion, the game features outdated graphics and an old engine, which has greatly frustrated him.

He shared this during one of his YouTube streams.

"I'm not playing Deadlock and I won't even try because the game is complete and utter ****. Just look at how it looks. Why is Valve using graphics and animations from 2013-14: Team Fortress, Overwatch, Dota 2 in 2024?"

He pointed out that Valve's new game reminds him a lot of their older projects in terms of graphics. He was so angry about this that he openly voiced everything he thinks about the Deadlock developers and Valve in general.

"Why hasn't Valve updated their graphics in their games for so many years? When will Gaben create new graphics? When? How can anyone play this? These ugly, cartoonish games are disgusting to look at. How can anyone even think about playing them? *****. I really don't understand why they don't improve their engine, which they use to churn out their outdated ******"

Valve has not yet responded to these harsh comments about their project, but it's worth noting that the opinions of most esports players and streamers are vastly different from Papich's perspective.

For example, Dota 2 legend and two-time International champion, Jesse "JerAx" Vainikka, considers the game incredible and has been following it closely since its first launch.
