Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov believes that the core of the former SAW roster was not a priority for BC.Game, but the esports organization was unable to find more suitable candidates for the Counter-Strike 2 roster.
The player shared this opinion on Telegram.
“BC.Game offered each team in the top 20 to buy their core, thus reaching the Portuguese from SAW. So think about what the result should be if you don't get the players you wanted, but only the 20+ players on the list.”
According to Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov, he attributes the team's losses to the fact that they initially took on players who were not the ones the organization had hoped for.
It is worth noting that in early January, Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes, Adones ‘krazy’ Nobre, and António “aragornN” Barbosa, who previously played for SAW, joined the team. With the updated roster, the team was eliminated from the IEM Rio qualifiers in last place.
Duncan “Thorin” Shields criticized BC.Game for Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev's excessive salary.
