OverDrive Commented on Valve’s Strict Restriction Affecting BC.Game

Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov supported Valve’s new restriction on region changes for CS2 teams.

The analyst shared this opinion on Telegram.

“A nice move by Valve. There have been too many freeloaders popping up who want to go to a Major like it’s a vacation.”

According to Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov, there are currently many teams on the CS2 pro scene trying to make their path to the Major easier. The analyst believes that additional restrictions for such organizations will improve the situation.

It’s worth noting that the restriction has affected the BC.Game roster, which moved to the Asian region after signing Tyson “Asap” Patterson and had a strong chance of qualifying for the Major. However, the team will likely miss the upcoming tournament due to the new rule.
