Juan "lalatronii" Rosales, who holds the second position in the American Dota 2 ladder, was involved in a serious accident on Christmas Eve and lost part of the index and thumb fingers on his left hand. Due to the injuries, he is currently bedridden.
The esports athlete shared this unfortunate news on his Facebook page.

"I'm very sorry to report that on Christmas Eve, I was in a pretty serious accident and lost part of two fingers on my left hand (index and thumb). Currently, I'm bedridden after the treatment"
He reached out to his fans and the Dota 2 community for support, as the medical expenses and rehabilitation process will be costly. Additionally, he mentioned the possibility of needing prosthetics:
"Over the next few days, we will be organizing a fundraiser so that I can cover medical expenses and the rehabilitation process. Not to mention a possible prosthetic that I may need. Any moral or financial support is extremely welcome"
Lalatronii did not provide details about the accident but clarified that it happened on Christmas Eve. It is possible that he has just begun his recovery process after the injuries.
It's worth noting that Lalatronii is one of the most well-known players in his region and ranks second in MMR, only surpassed by Adrian "Wisper" Dobles, who plays for
OG.
