Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, the offlaner for
9 Pandas, displayed a dreadful performance in the offlane role and was forced to change positions within the team during ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023.
This statement was made by Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov during a Twitch broadcast.
"RAMZES666 is not an offlaner. There are players who are confident that they are *** performers, they understand the game very well, and they know how and who to play with. So for them, there's no problem changing roles if they are adjacent. And the carry and offlaner are adjacent right now.
RAMZES666 has never been a good offlaner. He played for Evil Geniuses, and because of him, we had to reformat the game and make it so that Arteezy played as an offlaner himself, while RAMZES666 *** creeps on Bloodseeker. Even that looked somewhat decent, but he never became an offlaner, he didn't even start learning"
According to NS, Kushnarev changed positions during the tournament out of necessity, as Alik "V-Tune" Vorobey could have shown even worse results in the offlane role.
Recall that
9 Pandas performed poorly in the group stage of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 and were eliminated from the tournament, with no chance of advancing to the playoffs.
