NS suddenly spoke out against global patches for Dota 2: the reason is given

Yaroslav Kuznetsov, known as NS, has spoken out against major patch DOTA 2 changes saying that the game needs minor adjustments and updates should be more frequent.

The streamer and ex-professional gamer shared his opinion on this in a Twitch broadcast.

“I am negative for big transformations. I consider it to be just bad for a game. Patches like “New Horizons” with map enlargement or adding new things only ruin the game. On the other hand, it always demands small improvements. We have to disrupt balance almost monthly to keep the game alive. This is clear”

He urged Valve to deal with balancing issues more frequently so as not to bore players. Changing hero statistics often will lead to better heroes’ pools and increased interest in matchmaking according to him.

Previously, NS had criticized Valve’s attitude towards Dota 2, which could result in players quitting the game altogether.
