NS stated that Valve will release a Battle Pass with paid content

Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov said that Valve will turn "Quartero's Curios" into a seasonal Battle Pass with paid content.

The streamer and former eSports athlete said this during a broadcast on Twitch.

"Perhaps Valve doesn't like its own idea, but one that was reworked by others. That's probably why they called this event simply "Quartero Curiosities". But in essence, this is a Battle Pass, only now it is seasonal. It will be updated once a season. I am 93% sure that the next Battle Pass will already have paid content. There will be a free part - like now - and there will be a paid component. That's it, there will be no other option. It is logical that it should evolve. I hope it has become clearer now"

NS noted that "Quartero's Curios" is actually a Battle Pass, only in a modified form. According to him, in the future the event will most likely be supplemented with paid content and will become even more similar to the usual Battle Pass.
