Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov said that if Valve puts just a little more effort into the game, the average number of Dota 2 players online will exceed one million.
The streamer and former esports player made this statement during a broadcast on Twitch.
“Basically, if Valve puts a little effort into the game, it could have an average of a million people online. Because Dota has 500,000 people online, considering that Valve has completely screwed up globally. Do something, and Dota could exist forever”
NS noted that the game is not very popular right now, and yet the average number of online players exceeds 500,000. According to him, this means that with a constant influx of content, the number of players will double.
In addition, NS stated that Dota 2 could exist practically forever, and recalled that Valve usually does not shut down even very old projects, citing Team Fortress as an example.

Team Spirit analyst announced the release date of the new hero Bard Frog in Dota 2.
