According to Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov, Khalilov has shown vastly improved performance after his long break even though he did not engage with Dota 2 at all during that time. This information showed up a little surprisingly. Earlier, NS stated that Collapse’s performance will never dip due to the extended break from competitive gaming.
This information and insight was shared by the former esports player and streamer during a Twitch stream.
“In my opinion, a long break can only work to your advantage and Turbo is a prime example of that. Collapse was in the competitive Dota scene for a long time and, if not for more than 2 months, would still not have forgotten how to play Dota 2, but that time can allow him to recharge and come up with more innovative ideas”
NS highlighted that Collapse’s strong performance upon his return after the long break is a great example of how needed rest is for esports players, and how effective the right strategy can be. The streamer also noted a very vivid example when
OG earned their second championship in the world of Dota 2 for the second time.
"Take OG in TI8 and TI9 for example, they did not have the slightest care of participating in any tournaments which lasted for a time period of six months, and this is exactly what they did, they were careless, that is what made everyone else win them in the start. Amass a great amount of rage because of this, with time many judged that the team wouldn’t accomplish anything,":"We can all agree that TI9 did end up showing us an exceptional team"
It is interesting to note that the community believe Collapse would have the same performance as he did in The International 2024, a negative trend where he stopped playing public matches After being inactive for a long period, he unarguably regained his force as the best offlaner head in the world.
Previously Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov, out of nowhere, contacted Collapse to ask what place he has on the Dota 2 list.
