NS shared some sad news about Puppey: the Dota 2 legend is facing problems

Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov stated that the successful career of Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, the Dota 2 legend, is coming to an end. He has faced a problem assembling a team due to his age.

The former esports player and streamer shared this during a Twitch broadcast.

"I was saying it, but people didn't believe me, saying I was talking *** [nonsense]. But I said a year, a year and a half ago that Puppey has a problem! He's caught in a trap, and he's not alone. Many are in it: KuroKy, Dendi, Solo — the old-timers"

NS emphasized that due to his age, the legendary player, like other iconic Dota 2 esports players, cannot form a team of young players.

The differences between generations of Dota players are too significant. Because of his age, he cannot assemble a talented team.

"And the young ones — they're impulsive, quick, hot-headed, not the smartest, but talented. For them, guys 30+ are already uninteresting. They don't watch the same things, don't communicate the same way, and so on. So they want to look for young players too, to have fun. Because of this, it's increasingly difficult for Puppey to find people to play well with"

He concluded that because of this, it is unlikely that Puppey and Team Secret will be able to achieve the same level of results as in his stellar past. NS believes that the legend's career is coming to an end.

"Unfortunately, we are witnessing the decline of Puppey — the greatest player. But everything comes to an end eventually"
