NS revealed a Dota 2 hero that is impossible to win with at high MMR

According to Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, a streamer and former esports player, Silencer is one of the worst heroes among professional gamers. That being said, he can be fun at low MMRs.

He aired his opinion concerning a hero in one of his Twitch broadcasts.

"Silencer is a hero for playing out of your rank. For example, you take a smurf account that's 3000 MMR lower than your actual rating, and there, playing Silencer will probably be interesting. I mean as a support because there, you will likely steal a lot of intelligence thanks to your overskill and have fun running around"

On the other hand, at lower ranks Silencer is a very nice hero and during fights it’s not boring to watch him play. Conversely, for high MMR games it’s completely different because against good enemies this hero becomes ineffective.

"But at your actual rating, it's really tough because this hero can't do anything. If someone attacks you – no escape, no damage in return. If someone attacks your teammate – you have nothing except Global Silence, and that's a two-minute cooldown button. You press it – okay, maybe you save some hero because of it, but then you're useless for two minutes. Also, in every other situation, if not every first one, when you press Global to save someone, the guy still dies”

It should be noted that although Silencer has an average win rate, the hero sits near the bottom on top Dota 2 heroes list now as per the current meta.
