Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov stated that the possible release date for the Crownfall update to Dota 2 could be March 15th. According to him, Valve is unlikely to launch the update earlier.
The streamer and former esports player shared this forecast on his Telegram channel.
"The most realistic window is around the 15th, possibly later, but I wouldn't expect it sooner"
It's likely that NS mentioned this date due to Valve's tradition of releasing updates on Thursday night or Friday morning. March 15th falls within that timeframe. Additionally, by that time, the DreamLeague Season 22 tournament should be concluded, and there might be a lull between competitions. However, he noted that there's a small chance the patch could be released on the night of March 8th if Valve is confident that the event won't disrupt the game.
"I leave an extremely tiny chance that it might still come out tomorrow night if Valve is really sure the event won't break the game. But it's such a minuscule probability that I wouldn't count on it"
It's worth noting that many analysts and dataminers predicted the release of the Crownfall update with the new hero Ring Master on March 8th, but it did not happen.
