Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov stated that Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the manager of
Team Spirit, overestimated the price for Alan "Satanic" Galliamov. Allegedly, no organization in Dota 2 would be willing to pay such a high buyout for a player.
The corresponding statement was made during the former esports player's Twitch stream.
"I'm not sure anyone would pay a million for Satanic. You know why? In CS, something like that could happen. In Dota, such transfers have never happened and won't. People and their contracts are bought for $100-200 thousand. A million dollars is a sum that has never been paid in the history of this esports discipline. It's unlikely that anyone would want to pay such money for a pig in a poke"
According to NS, organizations are not ready to pay such amounts even for renowned players, so it's unlikely they would offer such a sum for a young, albeit promising, esports athlete. The streamer suggested that the
Team Spirit manager would probably agree even to half a million dollars for a transfer.
"I think Korb3n just indicated the fact that he won't give Satanic away cheaply. I believe that if someone came and offered $500 thousand, he would hardly resist for long, but who knows. Maybe Korb3n is sitting there thinking: Yatoro isn't getting any younger, while Satanic is still young"
The esports player also joked that perhaps Korb3n is already considering replacing Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, as Satanic is considerably younger than the Dota 2 world champion and is showing excellent performance.
