NS named the best esports game, and it's not Dota 2

The streamer and former esports player Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov said that CS2 is the best e-sport discipline in terms of emotionality, even surpassing Dota 2.

He made this remark during his Twitch stream.

“In CS2 there are always high emotional outbursts. Everyone cheers: win a round – everyone jumps up, gives each other high fives and hugs. But all Dota players just sit there. Every round is very emotional. That’s what makes Counter-Strike better. The most cool kind of e-sport. Constant splash of emotions. In “Dota” game lasts for 50 minutes and you think “Thank God it’s over”. You don’t want to hug anyone”

However, he mentioned that CS2 has more vibrant matches where the players are constantly on the move especially during tournaments than any other game. He further noted that this feeling is missing in Dota 2 championships right now as well as stated that current games protracted too much so everybody could lose interest in them.

It is important to mention earlier NS left Dota 2 and appealed to Valve so they correct main problem with games structure.
