NS exploded after Nix's comments about Topson at The International 2024

Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov lost his temper and defended Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen after harsh criticism from Alexander "Nix" Levin.

This happened during a stream by the former esports player on Twitch.

Nix literally stated that Topson is a bot and said he should consider switching to the fourth position with such skill. He then recalled TI9, claiming that Topson only had an incredible performance due to fortunate hero picks. This made NS laugh, and he offered a different perspective, reminding everyone how Topson dominated opponents regardless of the hero.

"Yeah, it’s funny, just ****. I think it’s taken out of context. Well, as far as I remember from TI9, Topson was rolling through teams no matter what hero he played. For example, at TI8, from my memory, Topson was really **** on Tiny, but he created some kind of chaos on the map, and it worked well with his OG team. So, at TI9, from my memory, Topson was really rolling"

NS reminded that TI9, which Nix referenced, was a true triumph for OG and Topson, who essentially defeated all opponents with little resistance, becoming two-time Dota 2 world champions.

"At TI9, OG won easily; they rolled over everyone, there was zero competition. They just **** on any position. If they won TI8 on mental strength, then TI9 was literally kicking people in the face. Topson was really ****"

Topson has not yet responded to the intense discussion about him during The International 2024.
