NS explained why the legendary Dendi intentionally does not increase his MMR

Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov stated that Danil “Dendi” Ishutin, a Dota 2 legend does not boost his MMR simply because he never needs to have a high ranking. As per NS, B8 captain spends his time on training and other more useful things.

Former esports player made this statement in a Twitch stream.

“Dendi could be the top 1 if he wanted to. But he doesn’t need it. Danya spends his time on useful things. He devotes himself to training and not boosting meaningless ratings”

He explained that boosting one’s MMR is nothing but numbers; hence, rather famous eSportsman prefers focusing on coaching and other more productive activities; besides, NS thinks as for him this indicator is irrelevant for professional players.

“Who needs rating? I believe no professional player gives a damn about it except Watson. It’s just Watson’s always been top 1 rank so he needs to keep up with it”

Previously NS had also pointed out the most imba item in patch 7.36b which has been significantly buffed and now allows winning battles in dota
