Renowned streamer Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov refrains from watching DreamLeague Season 22 matches due to community cast rules that require broadcasting the championship with a delay.
The content creator made this statement during a personal Twitch broadcast.
"But I remind everyone, in case there are people who are not aware. Dota is not watched on DreamLeague due to suffocating rules for community casting. Not that I'm complaining too much, I'm just stating the fact. Because people ask constantly, why don't you watch? It's super inconvenient to watch. With such rules, I think maybe I'll only watch the playoffs."
ESL has introduced strict restrictions for streamers, including not only transmission delay requirements but also regulations on stream titles and design. Organizers insist on thorough chat moderation and impose limits on the number of hosts and studio equipment used. In the updated ESL rules, streamers are required to introduce a 5-minute delay to their broadcasts. This means, in addition to the 15-minute delay in DotaTV, an extra 5-minute delay on the stream is now necessary, resulting in a total delay of 20 minutes.
Recall that earlier, the captain of
9 Pandas, Alexey "Solo" Berezin, was unable to log into his Twitch account.
