Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, streamer and former esports player, explained that in Team Spirit, players are not forced to play unusual heroes as some fans might think. In reality, NS emphasized that the final say in drafts always lies with the player.

He shared this during a Twitch stream.

"There are often weird questions like, 'Lol, why did they pick this for him?' or 'Lol, why is he playing on this trash?' Hello, the player always chooses their hero. If Collapse was confident in Magnus right now, he'd be dominating in pubs and crushing in scrims. He'd be saying, 'Guys, pick Magnus for me, I'm going to wreck some noobs.' Do you think they wouldn't pick him and instead say, 'Nah, Magnus is trash. We don't care about you wrecking noobs. Let's give you Centaur Warrunner so you can struggle on the lane.' What kind of nonsense is that perception of what's happening?"

NS explained that every pick is discussed, and if a draft choice seems unusual, it's because the player himself agreed on that hero for the match.

"The final word is always with the player who's going to play the hero. And no one knows better than them which character is the best fit. It's their responsibility. If Collapse isn't picking Magnus, it means he's not choosing him"

The streamer explained that this is how the drafting stage works in pro teams during tournaments. He emphasized that it's a whole process, and each player participates in the discussion to choose the best hero for the game.

It’s worth noting that NS previously made candid comments about Team Falcons, explaining what puts him off about the team.
