NS calls for a rework of the draft mechanics in Dota 2

Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov proposed to rework the draft system in Dota 2 so that supports would not have to pick heroes first.

The streamer shared this opinion on Twitch.

“As a support player, I have long expressed my opinion about the current draft in Dota. Currently, the system is set up so that I, as a support player, have to pick first. If I don't, the dead sides in the core positions can just break the gear, which, in my opinion, is complete nonsense.”

According to the content creator's proposal, the draft order could be randomly distributed by the game so that players in different positions would be forced to choose a hero not in a specific order, but under changing conditions.

“The game itself should randomly distribute the pick order so that everyone is forced to choose a hero under equal conditions.”
