NS announced the release date of the new hero, Ring Master, in Dota 2

Streamer and ex-esports player Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov has said that Valve may release a new hero called Ring Master together with the Compendium, one month before The International 2024. He assumes that the fresh hero may be available in game about from 4th to 6th of August.

This prediction was made by NS on Twitch stream.

“My guess is that Valve will bring out Ring Master when they also add the Compendium. They would likely have an immortal set for it in the Compendium to make some cash and keep everyone happy. This gap is because the fourth act of Crownfall comes after TI13 given that third act started on June 29 which means that there is a large gap still since then. Something should fill that space up; hence, this period perfectly suits the Compendium and its associated hero being released about one month before TI”

It seems like NS predicts an extended duration for the third act of crownfall which needs to be filled with content thus making it right time for releasing Ring Master and a catalogue of cosmetic items in compendium to boost TI13 prize pool.

The statement by NS implies that Valve might want to roll out this update just about a month before Dota 2 World Championship starts therefore; it may come into existence around 4th-6th August. Nevertheless, going by Valve’s Twitter account at this point, no official information has been communicated concerning this matter yet.

It must be noted that NS once claimed that Deadlock by Valve was doomed to failure and wouldn’t last even for several months.
