NS announced the release date for the 2024 Compendium and Ring Masters in Dota 2

Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, streamer and former esports player, believes that the celebratory event, which includes the release of the Compendium and the new hero Ring Master, will come out in August after Riyadh Masters 2024.

NS shared this during a Twitch broadcast.

"Right now, we're in the third act of 'The Fallen Crown.' The fourth act will likely be after The International, because somewhere in August, after Riyadh Masters 2024, something like the Compendium should appear. So there will be an event to keep people entertained. For example, team bundles, stickers, and so on – things that will fill the prize pool of TI"

According to the streamer, the Compendium will include skins and other cosmetic items for Ring Master, as this is how Valve will fill the prize pool for The International 2024. However, he is unsure about the release of the new hero but is confident that the Compendium will appear.

"Probably, they'll release the new hero alongside it. How else can you fill the prize pool for The International? Unless Valve wants a repeat of last year's TI, where no one was interested in buying. For example, they could release a new hero and include an item for them in the Compendium, like a cool set or Arcana. Then people will buy it. This is just a guess about Ring Master, but the Compendium is 100% certain"

He did not specify an exact date, but NS likely meant early August, as Riyadh Masters 2024 should be over by then, allowing teams to prepare for the Dota 2 World Championship.

It is worth noting that dataminers previously found hints of a new Compendium and an event in Dota 2 dedicated to The International 2024.
