Ben "Noxville" Steenhuisen believes that reducing the number of participants in The International 2024 will be beneficial.
The analyst made this statement on his personal Twitter page.
"Perhaps this is a somewhat unpopular opinion, but I am a supporter of reducing the number of teams at TI to 16, instead of 18 or 20.
16 seems like the optimal option in terms of the number of matches in the group stage (please don't have 4 groups again, that was awful), concurrent games, storylines, and so on."
Organizers announced that The International 2024 will take place in Copenhagen in September. This year's championship will have four fewer participants than the previous tournament. Some teams will receive direct invitations based on their previous achievements, while the second part of the participants will be determined through regional closed qualifiers.

It's worth noting that earlier, streamer Yaroslav "Limitless" Parshin revealed what could potentially upset
Gaimin Gladiators' carry player Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov.
