Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko realized that
PARIVISION might not receive a direct invite to The International 2026 even before the start of DreamLeague Season 29, which is why the esports player wasn’t surprised when Valve announced the list of participants.
The player made the following statement on Twitch.
“I don’t think this changed anything for us. To be honest, even before DreamLeague Season 29 started, I knew we wouldn’t get an invite. I think Valve had already decided on these invites before the tournament, so there was no way to influence that.”
The esports player believes that the organizers had already decided on the list of teams that would receive direct invites even before DreamLeague Season 29, which is why
PARIVISION’s victory in the tournament’s grand final had no impact on the team’s standing.
Acording to Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko, the lack of a direct invite shouldn’t significantly affect the team’s atmosphere, though the players still wanted to take a break after DreamLeague Season 29 by skipping the qualifiers.
“I don’t think the lack of an invite will have a major impact on the team’s atmosphere. We just won the tournament and thought we could relax and skip the qualifiers.
I would have liked to get an invite and skip them, but we are where we are."
As a reminder, Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko previously comented on
PARIVISION’s victory in the DreamLeague Season 29 grand final.
