Former coach of the Dota 2 team 9 Pandas, Alexander "nofear" Churochkin, commented on his departure from the organization through his Telegram channel.
It turns out that 9Pandas didn't even inform him that he had been kicked out of the team. He suspects that this was done deliberately to prevent him from qualifying with another team.
Well, they kicked me, and that happens sometimes. The only thing that's disappointing is that I found out about the kick two days before flying to BetBoom Dacha, and it wasn't even from the team but from Maria (a namesake). The next day, Roman wrote to explain the reasons. It's a bit unclear overall: why they didn't kick me after Riyadh and didn't give me any chance to join another team and go through qualifiers with them, instead deciding to wait until the European qualifiers were over and explore other options (as if on purpose). The team did what they deemed necessary, and I can understand them (not from a human point of view but from the perspective of achieving results). It's also strange that the org didn't reach out to me at all, and I learned about the announcement after the fact; no one informed me even a date in advance
There is also information that Puppey may replace nofear as the coach of the 9 Pandas team. The club has not made any official statements on this matter but has announced the imminent announcement of a new candidate.
