Yatoro, Korb3n and Collapse

Alexander "Nix" Levin stated that Team Spirit revolutionized the professional Dota 2 scene and became champions thanks to Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the team's manager.

The streamer shared this during a broadcast on Twitch.

"What was revolutionary about Team Spirit's approach? It was Korb3n. He wasn't just looking for people with specific gaming skills. Obviously, they needed to have them. Korb3n was looking for people with a certain mentality that he believed in as championship-worthy. He understood that skills could be refined over time with a coach. But it's the mentality that will make a difference in the long run"

He noted that Korb3n's unique thinking allowed him to see potential in players like Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov and Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov. Additionally, thanks to Korb3n, Silent joined Team Spirit, significantly strengthening the team's positions, according to Nix.

"When Yatoro joined them, he had a rank of 250-300. You need to have the ability to see the potential in him. Essentially, who even knew about Collapse? He is a tier-1 offlaner in the world. He spent his whole life playing in Cascade Esports and was needed by no one. But Korb3n unearthed this gem and revealed him. He believed in Miposhka when no one else did"

According to the streamer, it was Korb3n's unique approach that helped the players develop, as he looked not only at their gaming skills but also at their mentality, which opens up championship prospects in the professional Dota 2 scene.

Recall that earlier, Miposhka was deeply affected by the defeat at Riyadh Masters 2024 and barely held back tears after the team's elimination.
