Nix stated that Dota 2 is dead, naming the only mode that is still playable

Alexander “Nix” Levin called modern Dota 2 trash, where a player can no longer influence the outcome of a match, and the only mode you can still play properly is Turbo.

The streamer said this during a Twitch broadcast

“Dota is trash, not a game, especially if you are a streamer. You can play Turbo with some guys. All you can do is farm the side jungle and pray that your team gets lucky. You can’t influence anything yourself. Everyone just has six slots, nothing really changed”

He noted that he temporarily returned to Dota 2 only because of many viewer requests. According to him, he no longer wants to play this MOBA, because it’s not the game he loved before: individual skill has become almost irrelevant. The only chance to win a match is luck with the team, otherwise you just have to wait for a loss

“You asked, I played, I don’t want to anymore. The game I loved is dead, it’s completely different now. You can only play it in a party, but even that they ruined. It became so team-oriented that you can’t affect the game at all”

According to him, you can still enjoy Turbo, while regular matches make you suffer or hope that you get good teammates who will carry the pub together.
