Nix has spoken out about the future of Dota 2

Alexander “Nix” Levin has already accepted that Dota 2 is not going to be revived in the future. The streamer also compares the game to a vehicle that has been written off and not cared for. As per the streamer, the eventual shuttering of the game is just a matter of time.

The streamer expressed the same in one of his private Twitch streams, especially on the remark by the viewer, as if the developers stopped caring of Dota 2 when the active development of Deadlock started.

“Yeah, because it depends on who the developer of the game is. In regards to myself, I am disappointed, I was quite a few years to get it in of Dota was dead and it was quite difficult for me thanks to the fact that I really like this game, I still think it's the prettiest thing there ever was. There is no reason to expect the emergence of some evolutional wizards like Wizardry now. So of course now Deadlock is out, the game in general that was created, but you can’t help it when…

No matter, you know, what kind of a great car you have, if you stop looking after it, there, for example, some cheap car will die faster, expensive car will die later, but it will die.So it’s just a question of when” to quote. People ought to let go because things will break down eventually. It is just a matter of how long will that take.”

Most recently, the gaming community has been quite furious with Valve as the company has been focusing all its Dota 2 development resources on Deadlock, which is a new MOBA-shooter in the making. Regular online actors have been apace disparaging about lots of bugs coming out on updates and whose updates appear regularly, and worse said mechanics that are more of disservice than a service.

Growing numbers of fans are sharing their feelings regarding the rather noticeable drop in the hype train of The International 2024 year than this time last year’s TI.

Reiterate that Nix ‘Alexander Levin’ insists that owing to the change of development team, the problems in the game have become worse than they were before. In less than a week, however, the streamer also stated that there are now too many players not allowing Valve to close Dota 2 definitely.
