Alexander "Nix" Levin stated that Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk didn't know how to play and was losing almost all his matches until
Team Spirit coach Ayrat "Silent" Gaziev taught him how to play.
The streamer and former pro player shared this during a Twitch stream.
"But if you look at Raddan in the early years of his career, it was a disaster. Until Silent drilled into him how to play and instilled work ethic by expanding his hero pool, Ilya was a ruin and lost games that seemed impossible to lose"
According to Nix, Yatoro had a long journey to becoming a Dota 2 legend. He didn't have the same natural talent as other players, but through hard work, he expanded his hero pool and became one of the best carries in the world.
"You need to understand this if you followed Team Spirit from the Yellow Submarine days. Raddan wasn't like Miracle-, who dominated from the start. He was just a ghoul with a 250 rank and a black-and-white avatar, with Morphling as his only hero. In the early years, he was losing in both public and competitive matches. Collapse was dominating from the beginning, that’s a fact"
Nix noted that in the early years, Raddan (Yatoro) was losing not only official games but even pub matches. However, he worked hard, and with the right mentors, he was able to transform into a true Dota 2 legend.
Previously, Yatoro used a devastating 5-year-old combo at The International 2024.
