Alexander “Nix” Levin said that he decided to end his career in competitive Dota 2 because the high level of stress was negatively affecting his lifestyle.
The streamer announced this on Twitch.
“Why did I leave competitive Dota? Because I realized that in order to continue playing, I would have to eat fast food and smoke, because otherwise I couldn't compete at such a high level of stress and with the amount of training I had to do every day.”
Between 2016 and 2021, Alexander “Nix” Levin played for seven esports organizations, including
Team Empire,
ESPADA, and
HellRaisers. During his esports career, the streamer won approximately $40,500 in prize money.
Earlier, Alexander “Nix” Levin announced a new challenge, stating his plans to walk 100,000 steps without food or water across Japan.
