Alexander "Nix" Levin expressed his disdain for Rostislav "Rostislav_999" Protasenko, stating that the latter initially flattered him but then decided to stab him in the back, only to have his plan fail.

Nix shared this during a stream, explaining how the conflict began.

“I didn’t blow up because of Mango Rostik. I blew up because the guy was constantly flattering, was a hypocrite, and when he saw that the lion was wounded, he decided to bite like a jackal. That’s the difference. I’ll tell people who can’t see beyond their own fingers why I was upset with Rostik. I wouldn’t even say it’s resentment; I just wanted to crush a cockroach. He gave me the motivation to just crush him. Resentment is something more sneaky, when you hold something in and wait. I acted head-on”

He explained that the conflict started long before the streamer’s parody, noting that Rostislav_999 tried various ways to drag him into collaborations and stream-sniped him in Dota 2.

“The guy was constantly flattering, always hanging out in the chat, sending nonsense in DMs. He was always asking for co-casts, collaborations, and then I watched his disgusting transformation when he became a two-faced, hypocritical clown with the ‘MASTERS’ to hype himself up. The guy just tasted money and lost his mind. A classic thing in our world, especially at that age. I always had a neutral attitude towards him until he started messing with me. Even despite his flattery, I had a credit of trust towards him when he was just an ordinary guy whose popularity hadn’t gone to his head, when he was just playing matchmaking, even though at that time I already had a certain disgust for his behavior”

Nix revealed that Rostislav_999 tried to take advantage of his poor performance after the Streamers Battle, but the plan failed miserably despite his efforts.

“When he saw that I hadn’t played for months, was completely out of shape, and we lost the first game to them in the Streamers Battle. I wasn’t prepared at all; I had been commenting on the tournament for several months and hadn’t played for almost half a year. Naturally, I missed creeps. We lost the first game, and he immediately started spamming me, started saying things about me, being a low-skill trash who had always been a one-trick Io player, who had his hero banned and did nothing in the game and just ruined 0/20. He decided to believe in himself. He saw that the lion was slightly wounded. Like in ‘The Lion King,’ when the hyenas and jackals that stayed 20 km from the pride, but as soon as Simba was injured, they immediately surrounded him. These scavengers sense when you’re down. When you’re full of energy and healthy, they’ll never say anything to you”

The streamer explained that even a counter-pick and attempts to humiliate him during the stream didn’t work out for his opponent.

“This jackal the next day stream-snipes me with a bought account. Counter-picks me with Earthshaker, who has +250 damage from the totem, denies me four creeps, pauses, and writes something in the chat on the stream. He writes to my viewers, basically, his cheap manipulation was focused on: ‘Your streamer is low-skill, look how I’m crushing him, haha,’ even though before that he was flattering me. He just saw that the lion was wounded. In the end, he was 0:10, triggered me to play ten games a day, and then was just **** two games in a row. **** verbally, physically in Dota, I mean mechanically. He cried: ‘Nix is hurting me, come protect me.’ At 25 years old — or however old he is — he’s squeezing out tears, manipulating kids with diagnoses. Do I need to explain this? Anyone should see it. I understand manipulations at the level of Moriarty from the ‘Sherlock’ series, but these are manipulations at the level of a five-year-old preschooler. Do you really not notice this?”

He noted that this kind of behavior and actions caused his disgust towards Rostislav and sparked the conflict between the streamers. Rostislav_999 has not yet responded to this harsh statement or provided his version of the events.

Earlier, Nix mentioned that he was offered millions but declined due to his principles.
