Alexander «Nix» Levin stated that he will not stream Dota 2, because he lost interest, and also he does not agree with where the developers are taking the game and what they are doing with it.
The streamer said this during a broadcast, answering a fan's question.
“For now, stop with Dota, 100%. More chances that I will play matchmaking than watch matches. I’m not interested in following the game right now. Let’s see how things go in 1-2 months. Don’t like what the developers are doing. Not really my vibe, where Dota is moving”
Nix noted that he is stopping tournament streams for at least a couple of months, according to him, he lost interest in tournaments. He also said he really doesn’t like what the developers are doing with the game, and he criticized patch 7.40.
Also Nix noted that he understands the risk of losing audience, but he can’t stream what he doesn’t like. Nevertheless, this is not the first time he talks about leaving Dota 2, but after some time he returns to streaming.
