Alexander "Nix" Levin believes that
BetBoom Team's support player Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Hertek is not good enough at his position to play mid in matchmaking before the Riyadh Masters 2024.
The content maker shared his respective opinion on the cyber athlete during the Riyadh Masters 2024 tournament broadcast on his personal Twitch channel.
"I'm not trying to hale TORONTOTOKYO, I'm speaking objectively. One of the most important tournaments of the year is upon us, and he's playing dozens of games on the mid. Is this the right decision? I think it's not. Of course, it's up to everyone to decide.
Even if you're relaxing like that, having fun, it kind of sounds like an excuse. Because you're in a catch-up position. All your VCs have been playing for 10 years in this role, and you've just recently moved into it. So you need to work four times as hard as them. Seleri can go play mid and you can't. That's my opinion. And what's the point of rank 25 if it's on mid? Does that solve it?"
BetBoom Team were on the brink of elimination from the group stage of the Riyadh Masters 2024, where the team won just one match against
Beastcoast and lost three encounters. Nevertheless, a draw in the last series against
Tundra Esports secured Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Hertek's squad a spot in the bottom set of the playoffs.
Earlier, Alexander "Nix" Levin predicted the replacements in
BetBoom Team in case of failure at the Riyadh Masters 2024.
