Aleksandr "Nix" Levin stated that Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf should be held accountable for his offensive remarks, and Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev simply wanted to teach the Team Falcons player a lesson for his toxic behavior.
The streamer and former esports player made this statement during a Twitch broadcast.
"Maybe my opinion is unpopular, and people will hate on me for it, but I believe that you need to take responsibility for your words. I think that words on the internet and in real life have the same value. Hiding behind the fact that 'it's just the internet' when someone confronts you is ridiculous — we're in the 21st century. I think this is complete hypocrisy"
According to Nix, ATF is the one who should answer for his words, and SoNNeikO did the right thing by confronting the player in person. The streamer was shocked that people were defending ATF despite his scandalous behavior.
"I know what Ammar writes, and what shocks me the most is people coming out with nonsense, saying he's just 19 years old. First of all, he looks like a 50-year-old shawarma vendor, and saying he's 19 is absurd. Kids as young as 10 can be held accountable under the criminal code"
Nix also mentioned that he wanted to hear what SoNNeikO had to say and called
Team Falcons version of events complete nonsense.
"Honestly, I want to hear Akbar's opinion first, because what Falcons are saying is complete ****. I think Ammar got what he deserved — well, he didn't even get much at all. In fact, he was just confronted for his words. The guy showed up at LAN and asked him about it — what's the big deal?"
It's worth noting that
Team Falcons gave the organizers of PGL Wallachia Season 2 an ultimatum, demanding that SoNNeikO be disqualified.
