Nix criticized Valve

Alexander “Nix” Levin said that Dota 2 is currently far from ideal due to Valve's unwillingness to work on solving the game's current problems.

The streamer shared this opinion on Twitch.

"It's just impossible to play Dota. They don't reset MMR, they don't do seasons, they don't fight cheaters. The items they release now are trash. I bought some for Puck and Ember myself. They re-released them, and the prices dropped 10 times. They don't fight that either. They just don't care, they don't do anything. Despite this, the game is cool and still alive."

According to Alexander “Nix” Levin, the game continues to evolve not because of the efforts of the developers, but in spite of them, as Valve ignores the problem with cheaters, does not reset ratings, and does not hold in-game competitive seasons.

The content creator also expressed dissatisfaction with the infrequent release of patches. Alexander “Nix” Levin believes that enough time has passed since the end of The International 2025 to release at least a letter patch that would fix the main problems in the current meta balance.

“But I don't know. There are no patches. Let's say every person who plays Dota watches for days on end as Earthshaker or Sand King outplay them. How long has it been, two weeks since The International? Is it really impossible to make a letter patch in which they nerf two buttons for someone?”

Earlier, Alexander “Nix” Levin shared how to quickly get out of low MMR in Dota 2.
