Nix Deadlock

Alexander "Nix" Levin, a streamer and former esports player, announced that he has quit Dota 2 and is now playing Deadlock. He mentioned that he regrets not starting to play Valve's new project earlier.

Nix shared this during a stream on Twitch.

"I haven't played Dota for a long time. The game is ****. I wouldn't say it's **** compared to other games. It's **** compared to what it used to be. Now, I'm thoroughly enjoying Deadlock because it's managed by someone with more than 10 IQ. He puts his soul into it and does a great job. Dota 2 is like a car rolling downhill. It can't drive because it's broken, but it will keep rolling. Deadlock is much more interesting than Dota 2. I regret not getting into it sooner. That's my opinion. I'm tired of Dota. It's repetitive and boring. I want something new"

He admitted that he's grown bored with Dota 2, while seeing great potential in Deadlock. Additionally, the streamer previously claimed that the game was created by one of the original Dota developers, Icefrog, though he didn't specify where he got this information.

Nix also stated that Deadlock is significantly more interesting than Dota 2 in its current state, and he is unlikely to return to Valve's MOBA. Nevertheless, the former esports player is enjoying the new shooter and believes the project has excellent prospects.

Earlier, another well-known streamer announced the first tournament for Deadlock but urged fans to be patient.
