Michał "Nisha" Jankowski,
Team Liquid midlaner, revealed that the team didn't help him prepare for the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 1x1 tournament. They didn't even practice together, but he still plans to share his winnings with the team.
This admission came in a post-match interview, a segment of which was published on the Ez Dotes YouTube channel.
The esports athlete mentioned that he even asked William "Blitz" Lee, the team's coach, for help with drafts, but Blitz said he couldn't assist. However, one of the hosts hinted that due to the broad interpretation of the rules, this wasn't entirely accurate.
Nevertheless, Nisha intends to spend part of his winnings to organize a team celebration. Despite not practicing together, it's a collective victory for them.
It's worth noting that the organizers of BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 commented on Samuel "Boxi" Svahn's rule circumvention and explained how they plan to avoid such situations in the future.
