Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko said that he wouldn't have agreed to play in
Aurora if he hadn't managed to build a roster of current players, because otherwise he believes they wouldn't be able to win.
This statement was made during an interview at PGL Wallachia 4.
“None of us had a team after the New Year. At first, I didn't know how to put together a good team. I didn't want to do that. During and after BetBoom Dacha, I realized I could put together a lineup with these guys. It came to me: if I could get these players on the team, it would be a decent squad. For example, if any of them refused, I probably wouldn't be here. I only have faith in these guys”
Nightfall noted that he was the one who assembled the roster, and if he hadn't been able to get specific players, he himself might have refused to play for
Aurora. He noted that although the roster is new, they are already having success and the cohesiveness is increasing.
“We made the top 6 at our first LAN. It's still a new team, we're learning. You can't put a team together and start winning championships right away. You have to build a structure and pool knowledge: how the team wants to play and so on. All this takes time. I believe we are getting better every month”
Recall that earlier Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov said that he does not talk to Alexander “rue” Filin.
