Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko, the carry for
BetBoom Team, stated that he is approximately 500 MMR away from reaching the 15,000 MMR milestone in Dota 2 matchmaking.
He shared this during an interview at Riyadh Masters 2024.
"My team was just resting, and I was grinding ranked games, reaching 14k MMR and securing the top spot. Then we gathered for boot camp and spent a couple of weeks improving our game and getting stronger. The goal to reach 15k MMR is definitely there, but I'll focus on that closer to TI. Right now, my focus is on this tournament. I have around 500 MMR left to reach 15,000, so it's not a problem"
Nightfall expressed confidence that he could potentially break Watson's record and surpass the 15,000 MMR mark first. He emphasized the considerable effort he has put into matchmaking, leading to his top position in the European ladder.

However, Nightfall mentioned that he isn't rushing to achieve the milestone and might reach it closer to The International 2024, after Riyadh Masters concludes.
Previously, Nightfall impressed fans with his incredible achievement in Dota 2, surpassing ATF.
