Dota 2 players discovered an unusual bug related to
Templar Assassin that allows the hero to remain practically invisible on the map almost endlessly.
The abuse is based on the mechanics of the Meld ability. While using the skill,
Templar Assassin keeps invisibility until the attack actually reaches the target. Players found a way to extend this effect and make the hero extremely difficult to detect.
To perform the combo, a teammate with
Helm Of The Dominator is required while the
Templar Assassin herself needs to buy
Hurricane Pike. After the setup, players use the interaction between the abilities and move toward the lower portal, where the bug gets activated.
As a result,
Templar Assassin can remain hidden much longer then usual, and without items like
Dust Of Appearance or
Sentry Ward, detecting the hero becomes almost impossible.
