Data miners have discovered changes on SteamDB related to Dota 2, which may indicate the return of the Battle Pass to the game for the first time since 2022.
This information was shared by Dota Stepana Telegram channel, along with a corresponding screenshot.
"The last such update ended with the release of the second part of the Battle Pass 2022"
The data miner noted that the last time such changes occurred in Dota 2 on SteamDB was two years ago when Valve released the next part of the Battle Pass 2022. It is likely that players can expect new Hero Personas, as well as Immortal items and Arkanas, which will be part of the new Battle Pass for 2024.
However, the data miner emphasized that a test update does not necessarily mean that a patch will be released soon, as there have been no major changes to the client since the Dragon's Blood update. Valve has also not announced a release date for the patch or a global Crownfall update.
Nevertheless,
Team Spirit mentioned a specific streamer who may have insider information about the patch and even know the release date of the Dota 2 update.
