A new championship in Dota 2 has been announced, featuring invitations extended to the world's top teams

A new online league, the Elite League, with an impressive prize pool of 1 million dollars, is set to emerge on the Dota 2 pro scene, featuring top teams from around the world.
The official announcement was posted on FISSURE's official Telegram channel.
Elite League Schedule:
The main part of the new Dota 2 championship will kick off on April 5 and last for ten days. Prior to that, regional qualifiers will take place, followed by the closed selection for the tournament.
Open Qualifiers: March 6-9
Closed Qualifiers: March 11-16
Swiss Stage: March 31 - April 4
Round-Robin Stage & Playoff: April 5-15
Teams Participating in the Elite League
Many participating teams will be determined through regional and closed qualifiers, but it is already known that invitations to the tournament have been extended to the most renowned Dota 2 teams, who will directly advance to the playoffs.

Organizers have announced that the tournament's prize pool will amount to 1 million dollars, to be contested among the participating teams. It is currently unknown how the prize money will be distributed based on the standings, but it is likely that the tournament champions will receive around 30% of the total winnings.
Recall that earlier, Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov stated that Gaimin Gladiators are currently not performing at the tier-1 level and are unlikely to achieve a noteworthy result in DreamLeague Season 22.
