Andrey “bottega” Kopytko said that
BetBoom Team manager Luca ‘Lukawa’ Nasuashvili initially took notice of him, after which he was loaned to
Yellow Submarine to play under Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov.
The player talked about this in an interview with DLTV.
“Lukawa scouted me when I wasn't ranked very high, somewhere around the top 700 in Europe. Then I upped my rank and Korb3n sent me to
Yellow Submarine.”
According to Andrey “bottega” Kopytko, he was very happy when he received an offer to play Dota 2 for a salary from Luca “Lukawa” Nasuashvili, so he immediately asked his mother for permission to sign a contract with
BetBoom Team.
“When Luca wrote to me that there was an opportunity to get paid and play Dota, it was awesome. I immediately told my mom and asked if I could sign the contract. She said yes, she doesn't really care what I do.”
It is worth noting that although Andrey “bottega” Kopytko did not make it into the main roster of
BetBoom Team, the organization itself offered the player a partnership, noting his potential on the pro scene.
Earlier, Luca “Lukawa” Nasuashvili announced his possible departure from
BetBoom Team after the end of the current season.
