Ilya "Lil" Ilyuk, a famous eSports athlete and winner of several Majors, revealed that he currently works as a courier in the UK and lives in a trailer - after all, he had no backup plan except for a career in Dota 2.
He shared the photos on his Telegram channel.
"Since Dota doesn't bring in any money, and renting a house in the UK is quite expensive, sometimes you have to live in such conditions. Fortunately, this "house" is located on the territory of a company that has shared its Starlink - so you can hang out on the Internet. I'm obviously streaming from a different location. Many people ask how I live - I answer: work + benefits. When you don't earn a certain amount at work, the state throws in some money as benefits (at the expense of taxpayers, of course)
This is roughly what the life of a person who has dedicated his entire life to Dota without a plan B looks like. So think several times before leaving school or university to try his luck in eSports"
He explained that rent in the UK is too expensive, so he has to live in a trailer. In addition, he admitted that Dota 2 no longer brings in income - and now he works as a courier.

Many fans were surprised by this turn of events, because Lil has managed to earn $936,717 during his career - an impressive amount, even after deducting taxes.
